Hot Crab Meat DipIngredients:
1 cup grated cheese (Cheddar cheese) ¾ cup finely chopped green onions Small amount of Old Bay Seasoning: Optional ¾ cup Mayonnaise. Some prefer salad dressing Large can of shredded crab meat. If you prefer backfin, that is fine. Directions: Mix crabmeat, onions and mayo or salad dressing together. Spread evenly into baking dish, sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 25 minutes in 350 oven. If you prefer, you can wait til dish is heated and then sprinkle cheese on top. Serve on crackers, toasted French bread, whatever your choice is. Another choice You do not need to heat or serve this dish hot/warm. You can follow directions and serve it cold. Some make similar dips and add a bit of dry mustard, Old Bay Seasoning. This recipe is versatile so you can truly make it your own by adding other ingredients. You can turn this dish into a cold salad by taking the mixture and mixing it with pasta. |
