Going Less With Christmas Tree and Ornaments
There are those that go all out when it comes to decorating the Christmas tree. For many, pulling out the decorations, the lights, the tree, checking to see what is broken, how many lights need to be replaced and of course the shopping again for new decorations. No wonder so many don’t want to decorate for the holidays. How about going less with Christmas Tree Decorations?
Christmas Tree-Lack of Space
One of the big items, of course, is the Christmas tree. You may be ready to buy a new one for your new home, or to replace the old one that has simply worn out from being pulled out of the box and then returned to its box year after year.
Lack of Space
Another issue is the space. Face it, by the time you get the tree up, branches fluffed out, and the gifts underneath, the tree does take a lot of space. You can have a nice tree, but go small with it. Set it on the credenza, a covered table that can be place in the corner of the living or family room.
My grandmother loved to decorate for the holidays, but due to the lack of room, she had the prettiest White Christmas tree sitting atop her credenza, with a red bulbs hanging on it.
Of course, you can get 2 ft and 3 ft trees that are green as well.
Christmas Tree Lights
When my grandmother used her white Christmas tree, she didn’t bother with the lights or the tinsel. But if you insist on lights because of the colors, there is an easier way to do it, without going on a hunt for the broken light or having to buy a whole box of light bulbs for one or two lights of the same color. Of course, you can use the same color
Another remedy for lights, is to use this rotating Christmas tree light. It uses Halogen bulbs
