Customers love this book. It has provided them with everything they need to create beautiful cakes, cookies, cupcakes.
The only negative was a review from a user who had the skills already and was opening a bake shop of their own. Here is an excerpt of what this user had to say
Disappointed that only about 30 pages didn't feature or deal with fondant decorating or some similar form of cake covering.
If you want to know about this form of cake covering (fondant) this book is for you. I have to say that the pictures are great, the cakes are special and the price is a bargain. Just don't expect to find anything other than the most basic information on tradition decorating.

As a home hobby baker it is simply too expensive for me to purchase commercial tubs of modeling chocolate. I've tried numerous recipes and had poor results. Using this book I successfully made my own Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, and White Chocolate modeling chocolate clay.

Sensational Buttercream Decorating: 50 Projects for Luscious Cakes, Mini-Cakes and Cupcakes
Buttercream has been a popular cake for years. Buttercream (also known as butter cream, butter icing, and mock cream) is a type of icing or filling used inside cakes, as a coating, and as decoration. In its simplest form, it is made by creaming butter with powdered sugar, although other fats can be used, such as margarine or lard. Colorings and flavorings are often added, such as chocolate, fruit purees, and various extracts. Buttercream is a common and popular topping for cupcakes, sponge cakes, butter cakes, and other desserts.
Whether buttercream with no butter or a butter equivalent can rightly be called buttercream is debated among bakers, pastry chefs, and cake decorators.
